Following Sisi’s Footsteps in Vienna

Empress Elizabeth of Austria, better known as Sisi or Sissi, ruled alongside Emperor Franz Josef over the Imperial & Royal Monarchy of Austro-Hungary. Visit the sites associated with this queen whose life was a fairy tale and death a tragedy. The life of the enchanting Empress Sisi, immortalized in the Sisi movies, still absorbs her admirers from around the world who come to explore the Hofburg palace and see Vienna through her eyes.

You will be picked up from the hotel and taken in an air conditioned coach to the point where the walking tour begins. Accompanied by a guide, you will see.

• Imperial Crypt: This is the final resting place of the Habsburgs. See the tomb where Empress Elisabeth "Sisi" is buried.

• Hofburg Palace: The palace was the former official residence of Sisi and Franz Josef. The Hofburg was originally a medieval castle, but was later extended to a magnificent residence when the Habsburg's power increased. You may also be able to watch the training of the world famous Lipizzaner horses.
